Seth Caplan is a New York-based photographer specializing in people and spaces. Sitting at the intersection of the social and the spatial, his work spans lifestyle, environmental portraiture and interiors.

Seth grew up in that part of suburbia just outside New York, where he escaped to the city for frequent adventures. He received his BFA at Washington University in St. Louis, spending seven of those months abroad exploring Santiago, Chile and South America.

When not with his camera, you can find Seth eating ice cream, teaching student groups at the Guggenheim or working on his fine art practice. Seth's photography and work in other media has been exhibited in cities including St. Louis, Philadelphia, Santiago, New York and Seattle.
